TEDxItaewonChange 2012

You know what? It was great to feel part of TEDxItaewon again yesterday at our event. After having missed what I feel was much so much of the build up and preparations, to be welcomed back and thanked for my hard work was a great feeling.

As you can see from the picture above, I was on the Registration Desk for the event and got to practice a little Korean as well as smoothing the way with my suave English smoothness. Bring on next season!

2nd TEDxItaewon Salon Event

This past Sunday was TEDxItaewon’s first salon event of the third season and it was quite a success. We had talks from Curator, David Choo about Nepal and the work he has personally been involved in and also from member, Sabai Thien on the changes that have taken place in her native Myanmar.

The event was attended by around thirty people and was enjoyed by all. Videos to come!

Our engaged audience. Dan Johnson during his talk. Sam working in the booth.
